Surprisingly easy to install. Very simple to install. Familiarize yourself with parts before beginning and watch my smartblinds installation video on YouTube. Please be certain that the adapter that’s locks into motor fits snuggly onto your rod as there are no do overs. I have ordered two more.

Nifty Was easy enough to install. I recommend completely reading the instructions once before beginning. They seem to work well so far. I was worried because some of the reviews talk about them being noisy. They were not as loud as I expected. We bought these to open our blinds in the mornings so we can wake up easier, and I don’t think the noise will be too disturbing, especially with the options to open them in increments over 5 minutes. My little piece of advice: There is a small plastic switch with a hook that is installed first per the instructions. I would actually save that until last, or otherwise cover the hook with a cotton ball or something similar. I did not pay close attention to it, and the metal hook caused a bit of damage to the front of the blinds on my first install.
