if you’re willing to put the effort in this is a great tool I’ve had this printer for about 4 months and this was my first entry into the hobby. If you want something that works perfectly every time and needs little maintenance, this is probably not for you. That said, if you’re willing to put the effort in this is a great tool and good way to understand all the little odds and ins involved. I’ve had ~190 hours of print time so far; about 70% of that was successful. After the initial honeymoon you’ll probably start looking into upgrades, which there are a lot of. Considering the competition in the $300 price range, this is going to be the best bet.

Great print quality at a reasonable price This printer is my first foray into 3D printing and I am seriously impressed. My kids gave it to me for Christmas and on sale, they got it for right around $300 – excellent considering it is pre-built and has a pretty large build volume.
